This past year I had the opportunity to participate in the most amazing Bible study. Not only was the book eye-opening and life changing, but the author of the book was our leader! What an incredible privilege to be taught by the woman whose book you're studying! The book is "Knowing God Through His Names" by Mariel Davenport. Not only was I able to learn about the LORD I love, I got to know this sweet woman of God. Taking some pics of her and her sweet family was such an honor for me. So, thank you Mariel for following the Lord so passionately and sharing your heart with all of us.

This kind family needed a quick turnaround for a senior session, so we grabbed the first sunny day we could and went to work. This sweet gal was smart enough to bring her mama and a good friend to keep her wardrobe and hair in check, and to keep her smiling. Nothing like a friend dishing all your dirt in front of mom and a stranger to get those smiles genuine. It was fun ladies! Hope you like the pictures.
This sweet family showed up with smiles ready even though the temperatures were in the 30's for their session. The big kids did a wonderful job trying to get the little ones to smile, and the little ones did a wonderful job making the grown-ups smile. Over all, it was a really fun, finger-numbing session. I had a great time taking pictures of this family. I've known Caroline forever and have gotten to know her family over the past couple of years. Though it was freezing the morning of the session we eventually got a few smiles from Little Man. Little Miss was no problem at all, striking a pose whenever asked. Merry Christmas Phelps family. It's not often that I do a family session where the children are all teenagers. These sweet "kids" got their mom a session for her birthday. Though it was cold, we made the best of it and got some good shots. Happy Birthday Charlotte. I hope you like them.
I just love this family. Not only are they kind, generous, thoughtful, and encouraging. They are also gorgeous and so incredibly photogenic. Basically every photographer's dream.
